Everly Tatum is becoming the spitting image of her dad, Channing Tatum. It seems like only yesterday that Channing and his then-wife, Jenna Dewan — who split in April 2018, months before Dewan filed for divorce — were announcing Everly's arrival. Taking to Channing's website, the then-spouses shared the news of their little blessing with their fans. "Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Channing Tatum are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter, Everly Tatum, who was born on May 31 in London," read the 2013 announcement (via Today). "Sending love and light to Chan, Jenna and Ms. Everly!"

Of course, Dewan's laxer social media stance means that people have begun to compare Everly to her famous parents -- especially her father, Channing.

Channing And His Daughter, Everly, Are Totes Twinning!

On September 28, 2024, Channing Tatum played the role of proud single father by taking to Instagram to celebrate his daughter, Everly Tatum's, triumphs in Irish dancing. "There is absolutely no words for how proud i am of this lil girl!!! Im freaking out maaaaannn!!!!" he captioned a photo of them posing with her trophy. However, Channing's endearing excitement is far from the only noteworthy detail of this post; the father-daughter pair looked super similar as they stood side by side. 

Fans also noted the resemblance between the two in a carousel of photos and videos that Jenna Dewan shared in March 2024. "Man she looks like her dad!! Adorable," commented one fan underneath Dewan's Instagram post. "She looks just like her daddy," wrote another. Yeah, we'd have to agree!

With that said, Everly can thank both of her parents for being light on her feet. After all, Channing spent several years heading up the "Step Up" and "Magic Mike" franchises, which are both dance-centric entities. Meanwhile, her mother, who also starred in "Step Up" and "Take The Lead," has an extensive history

The radio silence is over. Channing Tatum and his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, have revealed the name of their newborn daughter: Everly.

In a posting on the Tatums’ respective websites, the couple stated: “Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Channing Tatum are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter, Everly Tatum, who was born on May 31st in London. Sending love and light to Chan, Jenna, and Ms. Everly!”

News of the birth broke Sunday night. Tatum, 33, and Dewan-Tatum, 32. have been stationed temporarily in the U.K., where the actor is filming the sci-fi thriller Jupiter Ascending.

The Magic Mike star married the actress-dancer in July 2009, several years after sparking a romance on the set of their dance-themed movie Step Up.

Next month, Jupiter Ascending (which co-stars Mila Kunis) will begin shooting in Chicago while Dewan-Tatum heads to Vancouver to film her Lifetime series Witches of East End.

Tatum’s next big roles include a Secret Service agent in White House Down (which hits theaters June 28) and a reprisal of Greg Jenko in 21 Jump Street 2, the follow-up to the hit comedy 21 Jump Street.

Channing Tatum is now officially the Sexiest Dad Alive.

He and wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum welcomed daughter Everly on Friday, May 31 in London, they announced on their respective websites.

Both parents posted “Welcome to the World!” with the message: “Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Channing Tatum are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter, Everly Tatum, who was born on May 31st in London. Sending love and light to Chan, Jenna, and Ms. Everly!”

It is the first child for the couple, who wed in 2009 after meeting on the setof Step Up. They announced their pregnancy in December.

Everly arrived in London, where the couple has been residing while Tatum, 33, films Jupiter Ascending with Mila Kunis.

In April, Dewan-Tatum, 32, told Glamour her husband has been a supportive-bordering-on-indulgent pregnancy partner.

“Channing has been great. He takes the route of no confrontation, just support, saying things like, ‘Do whatever you want! What do you want to eat? I’m going to leave it up to you,'” she said.

Meanwhile, the actor admitted he’s clueless when it comes to one key aspect of parenting — diaper duty.

“I have never changed a diaper before, so I may need some help learning,” Tatum told PEOPLE earlier this year. “I don’t have friends who have kids, so it’s going to be an interesting experience to learn how to change a diaper. I hope I don’t have any problems where the diaper falls off and the baby poops on the ground.”

Everly Tatum is growing up.

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan welcomed their daughter in 2013 before ultimately separating in 2018. These days, the Step Up alums are successfully co-parenting 11-year-old Everly.

While Tatum was initially nervous to be a single father following his and Dewan's split, he quickly learned to embrace the girl-dad life.

"When I became a single father, I had a lot of fear about connecting to Everly in every way that a little girl might want," the Magic Mike star said in 2021. "I didn't wear nail polish or know how to braid hair."

Gayle King shared a video on Instagram of Tatum dancing at the event as well as a snap of the actor with sparkles around his eyes and a T-shirt that read: "It's me, hi, I'm the daddy, it's me."

As for Dewan, she and her fiancé, Steve Kazee, have given Everly two siblings: Callum, born in March 2020, and Rhiannon, born in June 2024.
