Biography and Early Life
Shreya Ghoshal was born on March 12, 1984, in Murshidabad, West Bengal in a musical family. From an early age, her parents noticed her love for music and encouraged him to pursue a proper education. Shreya’s early discovery of classical music laid the foundation for her future success.
Formal music education
Shreya began her formal training in classical Indian music under the guidance of her mother. She was also heavily influenced by legendary Indian artists, who shaped her sense of rhythm and melody. This challenging terrain allowed her to explore different styles quickly.
