    1999 studio album by Momus

Stars Forever is the thirteenth studio album by Scottish musician Momus, released by Le Grand Magistery in 1999. The album represents part of Momus's "analog-baroque" phase.

Momus wrote thirty songs for Stars Forever, each about a person or group who commissioned a song for the price of $1,000. The funds raised went towards costs incurred from a lawsuit against Momus by Wendy Carlos. Patrons included fellow musicians The Minus 5, Keigo Oyamada, artist Jeff Koons, retail store Other Music, and record label Minty Fresh.

The album also features eight winners of a karaoke parody contest in which participants were invited to submit recordings of themselves singing over instrumentals included on Momus' previous album, The Little Red Songbook (1998).

  • Hierarchy of angels

Belief that angels are ordered according to rank

In the angelology of different religions, a hierarchy of angels is a ranking system of angels. The higher ranking angels have greater power and authority than lower ones, and different ranks have differences in appearance, such as varying numbers of wings or faces.

    Judaism

Main article: Angelic hierarchy in Judaism

The Jewish angelic hierarchy is established in the Hebrew Bible, Talmud, Rabbinic literature, and traditional Jewish liturgy. They are categorized in different hierarchies proposed by various theologians. For example, Maimonides, in his Mishneh Torah or Yad ha-Chazakah: Yesodei ha-Torah, counts ten ranks of angels.

    Christianity

    Main article: Angels in Christianity

The most influential angelic hierarchy was that put forward by Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite in the 5th or 6th century in his book De Coelesti Hierarchia (On the Celestial Hierarchy). Dionysius described nine levels of spiritual beings which he grouped into three orders:

During the Middle Ages, various schemes were proposed, some drawing on and expanding on Pseudo-Dionysius, others suggesting completely different classifications.

Pseudo-Dionysius (On the Celestial Hierarchy) and Thomas Aquinas (Summa Theologiae) drew on passages from the New Testament, specifically Ephesians1:21 and Colossians1:16, to develop a schema of three Hierarchies, Spheres or Triads of angels, with each Hierarchy containing three Orders or Choirs. Bonaventure summarized their nine offices as follows: announcing, declaring, and leading; regulating, enforcing, and commanding; receiving, revealing, and anointing. Thomas agreed with Jerome's commentary on Mt 18:10 that every living human possesses a guardian angel. Of the angelic orders, he asserted that only the lowest five are sent by God to manifest themselves in the corporeal world, whi

The traveling art show collective is a fund-raising drive for ASEM, a non-profit organization that helps the children of Mozambique.

This exhibition will consist of various works of art and a small photography section consisting of a compilation of Mozambican images that are given to artists as inspiration.

The intent of Imagining Mozambique is to create thought provoking art that will bring attention to the day-to-day life of the children of Mozambique.
Further, we hope the exhibition will open a larger conversation in the media about the situation for children in Mozambique and ideally inspire people to act in one form or another.

    Rational
Interested in the project and knowing too little about the issue of Mozambique, the first thing I did, I always do so, I entered that word into a search engine. It is interesting how a so superficial approach sometimes suggests effective initiatives. Of all the information I have gathered, in the end I have been impressed that the first words you read on the Wikipedia entry Mozambique are: from 1977 to 1992 the country was traversed by a long civil war. I was born in 1977 and I remember very well my 1992. It is difficult to dive into the reality of a childhood lived in the middle of a bloody conflict. Many small lives have been denied the right of the game. I imagined a country torn apart, I thought of something: for me the war was only a game. I thought of the soldiers who, abandoning their shape, piled one over, tell us a bit of recent history of humanity.
