Hook is a 2022 Pakistani television series written by Shahid Dogar and Shagufta Bhatti, and directed by Mohsin Mirza, produced by Abdullah Seja under the banner of IDream Entertainment. It originally aired on ARY Digital from December 2022 to July 2023.
Plot
Jafar Elahi is a powerful feudal lord and a businessman who is married to a woman, Memoona, elder than him. Missing happiness in his domestic life, he wishes all bliss for his younger brother, Shaheer. Shaheer has just returned from aboard and is in love with his university fellow, Haya. Haya is an orphan girl living with her sister, Safia and brother-in-law, Aziz who want to get her married as soon as possible. Haya does not consider Shaheer worth marrying but instead loves Zayan. Haya and Zayan gets engaged, but Shaheer being madly in love with Haya does not digest Haya marrying someone other than him. Shaheer confronts Zayan and during an altercation, Zayan unintentionally shot Shaheer, killing Shaheer. Jafar enraged by his brother's murder seeks revenge on Haya and Zayan by marrying Haya creating chaos in the lives of people around them.

Daldal (Urdu: دلدل, lit. 'Quicksand') is a Pakistaniromanticsocial drama that aired on Hum TV. The series features Zahid Ahmed, Armeena Khan, Muneeb Butt, and Kinza Hashmi in lead roles. Daldal explores societal injustices and the issue of illegal immigration.
Plot
The story revolves around the themes of illegal immigration, dowry, and corruption. Shuja (Zahid Ahmed), a young man from a lower-middle-class family, dreams of moving to London to escape his unsatisfactory life. His mother, Sakeena (Asma Abbas), is highly materialistic and wishes for him to marry a wealthy woman who could provide financial security for their family.
However, Shuja marries his maternal cousin, Hira (Armeena Khan), with the hidden intention of securing immigration through her father, who lives and works in London. Although their marriage is not initially based on love, Shuja and Hira gradually develop a strong mutual understanding and deep affection for each other.
After facing numerous challenges, Hira’s father finally agrees to facilitate Shuja’s immigration. However, in a sudden turn of events, Hira’s father passes away the following day, leading to the cancellation of Shuja’s immigration process. Left in despair, Shuja grows increasingly frustrated. Determined to achieve his dream by any means necessary, he resolves to reach London through illegal means.
While travelling illegally, Shuja faces numerous hardships and obstacles. His journey to London is long and arduous, filled with life-threatening challenges. He travels from Karachi to Iran, then to Turkey, Greece, France, and finally reaches his destination, London. With no way to turn back, he is forced to continue, knowing that returning would mean facing starvation and other perils.

Kinza Hashmi
Pakistani actress (born 1997)Kinza Hashmi is a Pakistaniactress who works in Urdu television.She made her debut in 2014 with Adhura Milan and later on appeared in several serials. Hashmi is best known for portraying a grey role of Rushna in Hum TV's romantic drama Ishq Tamasha (2018) for which she was nominated at the Hum Award for Best Actress in a Negative Role.
In 2019, Hashmi played a title role of Gulzar in ARY Digital's soap Gul-o-Gulzar for which she received another Best Actress nomination at PISA Awards. She was last seen playing Azmiya in social drama Mere Ban Jao (2023).
